Jen attributes her passion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to three gentlemen she worked for in college as a Direct Support Professional. They not only taught her about the desire for self-direction and choice, but also to live with careless abandon. Jen’s career in disabilities has spanned for over 20 years. Jen has been a speaker at national and international conferences on issues related to community based housing. Her passion has been in finding community based settings for those with significant challenges. Jen has a Master’s in Management from the University of Maryland, University College with a concentration in Nonprofits. Jen serves on the Service Innovation Committee for ARRM. She also serves on numerous committees for Fiscal Management Services.
